Child Advocacy
Become An Advocate
“Here in Rwanda when you are a kid and you don’t have school fees they send you back home, but for me I am studying well because of love. They never sent me back home because you have paid for me.”
-David, Rooted Oaks International student
Child Advocacy
What does it mean to be an advocate?
Advocates make a $40 a month donation, but it is so much more than that. It is education, hope, love, empowerment, relationship, medical insurance, joy, and more.
That $40 covers that child’s school fees, uniforms, and supplies. This means that child is able to receive an education, a gift they otherwise might not receive. Additionally, the monthly donation covers the cost of medical insurance for that child.
The families of each child in Rooted Oaks are not financially able to cover the cost of sending their child to school. In a country where there is no free education it is a privilege to attend school.
