Without access to these opportunities, individuals may face significant challenges in thriving both personally and professionally, limiting their ability to build stable, fulfilling lives. Investing in learning and development empowers adults to overcome barriers and seize meaningful opportunities.
We are dedicated to supporting families in our community by focusing on the education and well-being of both children and adults. Recognizing that the financial, physical, mental, and spiritual stability of adults plays a vital role in a child's development, we provide training to equip adults with skills that enhance their access to stable income opportunities. Alongside these practical skills, we also invest in their spiritual growth and offer emotional support to help them overcome the hardships of poverty.
Sewing Skills Training
Empowering women in acquiring the skills to launch and sustain successful sewing businesses.
We are passionate about equipping adults in our community with the knowledge and skills needed to launch their own businesses. One of our initiatives focuses on teaching students the art of sewing. Over the course of nine months, participants gain comprehensive training in tailoring, along with essential business development and management skills. To support their journey, graduates are gifted a sewing machine, providing them with the tools they need to start earning an income and putting their newfound expertise into practice.
Since 2023 we have had 40 students graduate.

The ability to read and write is essential for thriving
A significant number of adults in our community were unable to attend school, and this has deeply affected their lives. The absence of literacy skills has limited their opportunities to secure stable employment, express themselves in written communication, and engage with the Bible. Our vision is to empower every adult in the community with the essential ability to read and write, opening doors to growth and meaningful opportunities.
Empower An Adult to Thrive
We aim to continually enhance and broaden the training opportunities we offer to adults in our community. Our vision includes expanding our school to provide education in hairdressing, welding, and driving, all of which create valuable pathways for generating income and fostering economic growth within the community.
A monthly contribution of $80 can support the full cost of one sewing student's training for an entire year. However, we welcome one-time or recurring donations of any amount. Your generosity enables us to sustain our sewing training program and prepares us for future growth as we expand into additional areas of vocational training.
